Responsibilities
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disruptive behavior and coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as directed
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
Monitor access points and public areas for policy compliance, assist with wayfinding, and support orderly movement in high-traffic healthcare locations
Complete incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate observations to the onsite account team and/or client contacts, and support follow-up actions as directed
Qualification
Required
Have at least 2 or more years of security experience
Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED
Be 21 or more years of age
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
