Responsibilities
Develop, publish, and maintain enterprise reference architectures and standards
Lead modernization planning for transitioning legacy systems to cloud‑native or hybrid architectures
Architect integrations with enterprise platforms such as CRM solutions, workflow platforms, and cloud services
Design secure, scalable cloud solutions that meet enterprise security frameworks and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architectures support business objectives and user engagement needs
Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams and project leadership
Define and promote data interoperability strategies while ensuring compliance with retention and protection policies
Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency
Maintain documentation, roadmaps, and architectural standards
Communicate complex technical strategies in a clear and understandable way for diverse audiences
Support architecture governance through solution reviews and compliance validation
Develop business capability models and align technology roadmaps with strategic goals and regulatory requirements
Collaborate across business, data, application, and technical domains to design integrated enterprise solutions
Influence teams without direct authority and act as a trusted advisor to leadership, business partners, and project teams
Qualification
Required
Six years of IT experience and a bachelor's degree, or ten years of IT experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training
Experience in application development and modernization
Experience developing enterprise reference architectures and technology standards
Strong understanding of API design and secure system integration patterns
Experience with cloud solution architecture, preferably Azure
Ability to develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable guidance for technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Preferred
Certifications such as TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Salesforce Application Architect
Experience working in state or federal government environments
Familiarity with low‑code platforms such as Appian
Familiarity with Salesforce, geospatial systems, or regulatory data standards
