The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Clerical Assistant 2 for the Memorial Lake Park Complex. This seasonal position involves performing various administrative tasks, managing visitor service operations, and working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Performing various administrative assignments, tasks and reports
Works with the Pennsylvania State Parks Reservations & Revenue System (PRRS) in the collection of fees
Overseeing most of the visitor service operations of the complex
Works independently on routine and non-routine jobs with minimal supervision
Expected to perform duties in a responsible, professional manner
Assignments require familiarity with technical knowledge, and detailed knowledge of the functions, procedures, and organization of the Department and Bureau
Assists with the preparation of park purchasing, bids, contracts and documents

Required

Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Graduation from high school; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
A conditional offer of employment will require submission of criminal history reports
