Responsibilities
Inspect manufactured parts and raw materials for conformity to standards, specifications and processing requirements
Inspect for proper identity and dimensions using measuring devices as micrometers, gauges, calipers and Jo-blocks
Verify specifications using purchase orders, blueprints, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists
Maintain inspection records to meet company, customer and FAA requirements
Perform in-process and final inspection and functional testing tasks such as hardness and conductivity that are simple to moderately complex requiring some skill, experience and judgment to complete
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Inspection Technology and/or a minimum of two (2) years of inspection experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
AS9102 FAI experience required
Demonstrated knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 quality systems
Assembly experience utilizing assembly jig tooling
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred
CMM, Faro Arm or Laser tracking experience a plus
Understanding of modeling and GD&T tolerancing
May be required to operate forklifts occasionally
