Customer Support & Program Specialist

Vital Plan is seeking a Customer Support & Program Specialist to assist with customer support operations and the RESTORE180™ program experience. The role involves onboarding new members, providing ongoing support, and facilitating group coaching calls, all while ensuring members feel welcomed and supported throughout their health recovery journey.

Responsibilities

Onboard new members into RESTORE180™ Premium Section of The Vital Plan Network, ensuring a smooth and welcoming start
Provide ongoing member support and troubleshooting throughout Phases 1–3
Moderate private chat communities across all phases
Answer general member questions and escalate questions/needs beyond your scope to ensure members are supported in a timely manner
Facilitate and support weekly group coaching calls in conjunction with Vital Plan health coaches for Phases 1-3
Run Zoom meetings and serve as a front-facing presence with members on video
Coordinate editing and post replays of group coaching calls and other recorded events
Respond to customer inquiries via Gladly (email/chat), including ordering and account questions as well as program access and troubleshooting
Provide timely, empathetic, and accurate responses aligned with established support guidelines
Escalate issues appropriately and coordinate with internal teams when needed
Support the Director of Customer Success with day-to-day Premium Plan community operations and tracking RESTORE180 customer progress over the course of their 6-month program and beyond
Provide backup coverage for the customer support team during high-volume periods
Maintain strong organization and attention to detail across systems and communications
Flag recurring issues, unclear documentation, or opportunities to improve the member experience

Required

1-3+ years of experience in customer support, program support, or community-focused roles
Experience supporting online communities, memberships, or coaching programs
Comfortable running Zoom meetings and being customer-facing on camera
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms quickly
Clear, warm communicator — both written and on video
Energetic, reliable, and proactive
Passionate about helping people recover from chronic illness and aligned with Vital Plan's mission

Preferred

Experience with help desk or customer support platforms (Gladly and Mighty Networks a plus)
Familiarity with Shopify, G-Suite, or similar tools is a plus
Prior experience with Vital Plan or the RESTORE180™ program is preferred but not required
