Business Development Lead (North America)
ProfilePrint is a Singapore Headquartered AI company delivering data-driven quality and profiling solutions for agrifood, food manufacturing and commodities markets. They are seeking a highly motivated, sales-driven Business Development Lead to support and accelerate growth across North America by engaging prospects and closing deals in a fast-paced, international startup environment.
Responsibilities
Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound leads and partner channels
Sell ProfilePrint’s AI and data-driven solutions to enterprise customers, including processors, manufacturers, traders and large agrifood organizations
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with a strong focus on new customer acquisition
Support and execute the full sales cycle: discovery calls, solution presentations, pilots/POCs, commercial discussions and deal closure
Engage with decision-makers across operations, quality, procurement and management teams
Communicate the commercial value, ROI and operational benefits of ProfilePrint’s solutions
Lead consultative sales conversations with C-level executives, operations leaders, QA teams and procurement stakeholders
Execute go-to-market initiatives across priority industries and regions in North America
Identify expansion and upsell opportunities within existing and pilot accounts
Collaborate closely with customer success, technical and product teams
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting and CRM (Hubspot) updates
Provide clear visibility on deal status, risks and revenue outlook to leadership
Gather competitive intelligence, customer objections and pricing insights from the field
Feed structured market feedback into product and leadership teams to support commercial strategy
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, with a strong emphasis on closing deals
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in enterprise or mid-market environments
Experience selling SaaS, AI, data, analytics, industrial tech or enterprise software
Strong hunter mindset with comfort in outbound prospecting
Self-driven, proactive and highly resilient
Comfortable learning and selling technical or data-driven solutions
Strong communication, follow-up and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with global teams
Willingness to travel extensively across North America
Comfortable working with teams across different time zones
Preferred
Exposure to agrifood, food manufacturing, commodities, supply chain or industrial sectors is highly preferred
