Responsibilities
Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location
Greet and screen visitors, patients, and vendors; confirm authorization, issue temporary badges when directed, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site requirements
Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and/or intercoms; report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff, facility leadership, and/or public responders as needed
Complete shift documentation including incident reports, daily activity logs, and pass-down information to support consistent security-related operations
Qualification
Required
Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required
21+ Years of Age is required
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
