Senior Sales Executive - E-Invoicing

As a Senior E-Invoicing Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in driving Avalara’s growth by helping multinational businesses navigate the evolving landscape of e-invoicing and live reporting mandates.

Responsibilities

E-Invoicing Market Expertise: Stay current with industry trends and regulations related to e-invoicing and transaction taxes, providing subject matter expertise to both prospects and colleagues
New Business Development: Identify and target potential customers within the e-invoicing market, understanding their pain points, and presenting Avalara's solutions as the optimal choice for tax compliance
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy tailored to the e-invoicing sector, leveraging Avalara's unique strengths and differentiators
Solution Selling: Understand the complex needs of clients and tailor Avalara's software solutions to meet their specific requirements
Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process
Quota Achievement: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas, driving revenue growth for Avalara
Sales Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, and Customer Account Managers to win business globally

Required

7+ years of successful software sales experience, with experience meeting sales quotas
Strong background in e-invoicing software sales
Strong background in SaaS sales
Strong knowledge of the e-invoicing market including the already introduced and upcoming mandates
Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
Experience in a quota-carrying sales role, with a focus on new or existing business
Experience using AI and AI-related technologies
