Responsibilities
Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery
Lead large, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple internal teams and/or external vendors
Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones
Define project scope, user requirements, deliverables, and approval processes
Establish and communicate roles and responsibilities for project team members and stakeholders
Coordinate and monitor activities across all stakeholders to ensure alignment with timelines and budgets
Track risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies as needed
Communicate project status, progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders
Ensure final project deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations
Provide professional leadership that promotes collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Mentor and guide junior Project Managers, including recommending appropriate training and development opportunities
Inspire teams to pursue excellence through clear direction, respect, and trust
Qualification
Required
Proven experience managing multiple, complex enterprise-level projects
Strong project planning, execution, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership and diverse stakeholder groups
Experience mentoring or leading other Project Managers is strongly preferred
Experience in IT Project Management
5 Years
Experience with multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall

Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business folks who have little to no exposure to large software projects

Ability to work with technical team members, and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles

Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred
Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects as a Senior IT PM
Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation
PMP Certified, upload cert on Reference tab at time of submission
