The Human Resources Technician will perform various HR functions, including developing job vacancy announcements, administering employee benefits, and conducting new hire orientations while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Develop job vacancy announcements
Attend recruiting and other events
Review job applications and determine eligibility
Evaluate applicant's qualifications according to established policies and procedures
Assist in administering the employee benefits program
Process and maintain accurate records for employee and benefit related matters
Maintain contact with employees and supervisors regarding policies and procedures
Conduct research on complicated employee benefit related issues
Conduct new hire orientation classes and seminars
Provide World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy
Acknowledge customers and solve problems quickly
Adhere to safety regulations and standards
Report observed workplace hazards and injuries
Support the principles of the EEO program and prevention of sexual harassment
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Must have at least three years of HR generalist experience in multiple functional areas such as talent acquisition, benefits administration, data entry, and new hire orientation
Knowledge of employment law and HRIS database maintenance
Must have the ability to plan, organize, and complete complex personnel operations
Must possess excellent customer service and computer skills
Must be able to work in a fast pace demanding work environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks, and the flexibility to adapt with changing requirements
Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or closely related field highly preferred
