Mid LevelHeritage Home Service is seeking a Plumbing Permit Technician to join their team in Tewksbury, MA. The technician will manage the full lifecycle of permits, including pulling permits, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with municipal regulations.

Responsibilities
Pull and close permits for all jobs requiring them, regardless of trade
Coordinate with municipalities to schedule inspections and finalize permit closures
Attend inspections on-site when required to meet with inspectors and review scopes of work
Prioritize recent installations and municipalities with high volumes of open permits
Focus efforts geographically to reduce and eliminate permit backlog
Self-dispatch to 3–5 inspection appointments per day
Maintain accurate records and provide:
Weekly email reports of all closed permits
Updated permit backlog tracker with written summaries and Excel documentation
Communicate any additional support needs to meet daily closure goals
Update job summaries in Service Titan with inspection outcomes, issues, or trends
Qualification
Required
Valid Journeyman Plumbing License (Required)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and manage a field-based schedule
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Preferred
Familiarity with municipal permitting processes is a plus
Experience with Service Titan or similar job management software is preferred
