Responsibilities

You will develop and initiate administrative procedures and controls to ensure that the material support work is accomplished in an orderly manner within the time and budget constraints
You will coordinate and manage a variety of projects from inception to completion
You will represent (Code 500) at meetings and conferences of subject matter affecting assigned programs and projects and summarizes key decisions and actions requiring the attention of the Department Head
You will improve work methods and procedures used to produce work products and advise on methodologies to use in achieving work goals and objectives
You will coordinate as liaison between Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS), Defense logistics Agency (DLA), Pearl Harbor and LMA PHNSY and IMF staff and support codes for all supply program requirements
You will prepare and conduct oral and written communications and presentations relative to project status, outcomes, and recommendations
You will implement various supply programs involving material management, property accountability, inventory control, internal logistics, and financial management

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift
Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
This is a Mission Essential position
This position may require the ability to work in confined spaces
This position may require the ability to climb ladders or scaffolding
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate experience establishing standards for work methods, preparing and presenting analysis reports, conducting assessments of new and existing procedures, reviewing problems encountered, and recommending solutions or corrective measures
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate experience preparing analysis reports, implementing established procedures, conducting reviews of new and existing procedures, and monitoring execution of plans to identify improvements areas
