2+ years expPride Health is currently seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with Urology experience to support our client's outpatient Urology clinic for a 13-week contract. This role supports physicians and clinical staff by ensuring smooth patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
Assist providers with patient exams and procedures
Room patients; obtain vitals and document review of systems
Update medical, surgical, social, and family histories
Reconcile and update medication lists
Document accurately in EMR; manage in-baskets and work queues
Prepare patient charts by scanning and reviewing records
Refill and pre-authorize medications
Communicate with patients, pharmacies, and insurance companies
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and check patients in/out
Respond to patient messages via MyChart
Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, vaccinations, and cast removal (as assigned)
Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and order supplies
Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with regulations
Floating required to up to 5 Urology AOC clinics
Qualification
Required
Urology experience required
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program
High School diploma or equivalent
BLS certification
Strong computer skills (EMR, scheduling systems, Microsoft Outlook/Excel)
Ability to float to multiple clinic locations
Preferred
2–5 years of Medical Assistant experience
Experience in specialty clinics or multiple care settings
CMA or RMA certification
