Program Assistant - Asian Studies Program (9:00AM - 1:30PM)

They are seeking a Program Assistant to assist the Director in managing the Asian Studies Program, including maintaining student records, preparing reports, coordinating outreach events, and managing social media communications.

Responsibilities
Provides programmatic and research assistance to the Director in day-to day operations of the Program
Responds to inquiries from students and faculty, interfacing with administrative and departmental offices
Assists with program publications including the annual journal, and the annual newsletter
Assist in preparing reports and Power Point Presentations
Assists in the overseeing of student records including Panther Audits and degree certifications
Provides assistance to graduate students, especially in Master's Essay and Thesis exit options
Prepares requisitions and invoices and Assists with the preparation of workshops/meetings/events
Compiles data and prepares reports as requested
Assists in maintaining and updating websites and social media in collaboration with SIPA Marketing and Communications Teams
Attends to telephone and email requests from faculty and students on a regular basis
Orders equipment and materials as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Five (5) years of office or related experience providing administrative support, or coordinating functions of an office or department
Preferred
Experience working in Higher Education
