Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications
Record and analyze test results and report any deviations or non-conformances
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using calibrated measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
Maintain accurate and organized quality documentation, including inspection logs, test reports, and certifications
Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions
Calibrate and maintain testing and measuring equipment according to company standards
Support root cause analysis and problem-solving for quality-related issues
Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and projects as assigned
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment

Required

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, part numbers, and specifications
Strong understanding of quality control principles and inspection methods
Skilled in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
Familiarity with statistical quality control and sampling methods
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and judgment skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Must be legally entitled to work in the US
High School diploma or GED and must be bilingual
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment
Experience with testing equipment and procedures required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards is a plus
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Quality certification (e.g., CQI, Six Sigma, or equivalent) is a plus
