New Grad, Entry LevelTandem Hospitality Group is seeking a Restaurant Host to ensure guests have a great dining experience at the Hotel. The Host will greet guests, manage reservations, and maintain the dining room's setup while addressing any guest needs or issues promptly.

Responsibilities
Greet guests personally as they enter the establishment
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Accept to-go orders over the telephone
Receive and record dining reservations on the telephone
Ensure the proper setup of dining room
Ensure dining room seating is controlled and that there is server parity in number of tables
Ensure neatness and cleanliness of stations
Present menus, make recommendations and take orders if necessary
Assist other food and beverage staff when necessary
Liaise between staff and customers to ensure great service
Anticipate and address guests' service needs
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Qualification
Required
Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Positive, upbeat attitude and personality
Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with a minimum of supervision
Punctuality and reliable attendance
Preferred
Prior food and beverage industry experience preferred
