Responsibilities
Passion for hospitality and coffee
Conceptualize and execute designs for print, digital, and social media campaigns
Develop brand identities, logos, and visual systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ecommerce, marketing, operations, sales, and coffee, to develop creative solutions
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on project timelines
Create presentations and design proposals
Stay up-to-date with design trends, techniques, and technologies
Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines, and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to delivery
Establish vision for projects and deliverables
Maintain brand visual identity to make sure all deliverables are cohesive and within brand guidelines and design standards
Participate in brainstorming sessions and creation of concepts on all creative
Collaborate with the Marketing team to create cohesive marketing campaigns both digital and print
Translate complex ideas into beautiful visual executions
Present creative ideas / concepts to the team in a compelling and clear manner
Commit to and implement ethical design practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of work including most of the following disciplines: logo; packaging; environmental graphics; social media; UX and Web design
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, departments, and vendors
An ability to communicate reasoning behind your work, as well as the ability to give and receive written and verbal feedback to continually improve the process and quality of work
Ability to translate business objectives into design strategies
Strong attention to detail
Excellent ability to create project budgets for proposals and internal work projects and to manage those budgets
Able to multitask, adapt, and quickly apply feedback to designs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines within sometimes challenging time frames
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools
Able to take direction and execute accordingly
The ability to prioritize, organize, and communicate effectively and professionally is required
Demonstrates problem solving skills by identifying and solving problems in a timely manner; reaching out to appropriate resources for assistance; treating problem solving as a learning opportunity for self; proactively coming to the table with ideas and solutions that demonstrate a spirit of continuous improvement
