Responsibilities

Adhere to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training
Actively participate in group discussions on technical implementation and solution design
Trace most defects/functionality back to the related source code
Determine scope of impact of changes made to the codebase
Participate in standard processes such as code deployments
Collaborate with Quality Assurance on appropriate use case and test case development
Translate technical aspects of work to non-technical co-workers
Contribute clear and concise solution documentation
Exhibit appropriate attention to time management, professional conduct and adherence to corporate policies

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any discipline), or closely related field of study is preferred
At least 1 years of experience in the job offered or as a Developer, Consultant, Software Engineer, or closely related occupation
Demonstrated knowledge of DevOps best practices including CI/CD and automation and associated development
Working knowledge of the application-level database interface
Must have strong logic skills, be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and demonstrate well-developed problem solving skills
Must demonstrate excellent time-management, prioritization, attention to detail and organization skills
Must have the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies rapidly
Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other team members
Must be able to consistently meet established project deadlines
Must be able to work independently with limited supervision, and as part of a team

Preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of cloud technologies and monitoring platforms preferred
