Responsibilities

Assist in managing, developing, and coaching tax interns, associates and tax senior associates
Provide tax compliance and consulting services to individuals, trusts, and not-for-profit clients
Review federal, state and local tax notices and to draft responses
Conduct tax research
Foster and exemplify collaborative working relations with all firm members

Qualification

CPA licenseTax compliance experienceTax technology softwareAnalytical abilitiesCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsProblem-solving abilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting, or Master's in Taxation preferred
5 years or more full time work tax compliance experience in individual, partnership, trust and not-for-profit entities
Active CPA license (or working towards to become one) or Enrolled Agent
Proficiency in common tax technology preparation and reporting software (BNA Income Tax Planner, Checkpoint RIA, CCH Axcess Tax, MS Office(advanced excel capabilities)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Demonstrate strong organization skills and attention to details
Good communication skills
A desire to contribute, learn, and grow at Catalyst Family Office
