Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will support one or more phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - requirements, design, development, test, validation, and maintenance
You will support research and development activities and/or programs of record
You will work with a talented team of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related (STEM) discipline
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (including internships)
Experience developing object-oriented software using C++
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is also required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Experience with developing, testing, and integrating software using C++ / Java or other modern software development language
Experience with OOA/D and UML or similar design language/notation
Familiarity with Agile or working knowledge of lifecycle processes including Scrum, and Continuous Integration
Possess skills to handle fast pace and dynamic product development environment including engagement with systems and electrical engineers
Experience working closely and directly within a team environment
Demonstrated leadership and self-directed attributes
Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, etc
