Electrical Engineer, Sr
Lockheed Martin is a global aerospace, defense, and security company dedicated to advancing scientific discovery and harnessing innovation to make the world a safer place. The company is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support multiple programs in the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors business, focusing on the design and sustainment of launcher electrical systems.

Responsibilities
Support the electrical design sustainment of the MK41 Vertical Launching System and new and exciting designs of the next generation of launcher and weapon systems across various platforms
Apply emerging technical expertise in electrical engineering and electronics and have applicable knowledge of other related disciplines
Support the successful design and may function in a project leadership role to achieve major organizational objectives
May represent the organization as a technical contact on contracts and projects while coordinating with more senior internal or external personnel on significant technical matters
Conduct or participate in the design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical components, sub-systems and systems
Develop, direct, and coordinate technical documentation such as initial design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings and parts list as well as preparing test procedures and reports to ensure customer and company requirements are met
Qualification
Required
Bachelor Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering or scientific field
Minimum 5 Years Professional Experience
Experience supporting multi-disciplinary engineering teams in electronic system development
Working experience in more than one of the following technical areas: Electrical System Integration/Development, Complex Cable Design, Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Design, Circuit Card Assembly Design, Electrical Bonding and Grounding of Enclosures, FPGA Selection/Programming
Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD clearance at the SECRET level
Preferred
Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering or scientific field
DOD and/or US Navy Development Experience using military standards
Strong verbal and written communications skills
