Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison for international customers, managing orders from entry through shipment
Validate order details, confirm product availability, and align shipment timelines with internal teams
Ensure international customer requirements, compliance rules, and documentation needs are met with precision
Prepare, validate, and issue all required export documents, including commercial invoices, proforma invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, certificates of analysis, and compliance documentation
Ensure documentation aligns with INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and country‑specific import requirements
Maintain expert-level knowledge of export controls, restricted trade, and international compliance standards
Coordinate global shipments (EXW, FOB), including pickups and transportation with freight forwarders, logistics partners, and customer-appointed carriers
Maintain strong relationships with 3rd‑party providers to ensure timely, accurate execution of customer needs
Track shipments, provide real-time visibility updates, and proactively resolve delays or discrepancies
Troubleshoot and resolve shipment errors, documentation issues, customs holds, or carrier-related failures remotely and efficiently
Lead root-cause investigations and recommend process improvements to prevent recurrence
Escalate urgent risks with actionable solutions to relevant internal teams
Perform financial checks during order review, including credit limit verification and open invoice validation
Collaborate with Finance and Sales to resolve issues preventing order release or shipment
Provide month-end reporting, visibility on shipments, and updates on open issues
Participate in weekly operational and monthly planning meetings with Planning, Sales, and Finance
Support forecast alignment and future international demand follow-up
Coordinate international inventory transfers with Planning and Warehousing
Identify gaps in international execution processes and partner with internal teams to refine workflows
Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy, speed, and customer satisfaction
Assist in scaling processes to support a quickly growing global business
Support the rollout of new programs, systems, or customer requirements that impact international operations

Required

Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build enduring global relationships
Demonstrated expertise in international logistics, export documentation, and customs processes
Proactive, results-driven, and highly skilled at solving complex issues remotely
Self-sufficient with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple time zones and evolving demands
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and strong attention to detail

Preferred

Undergraduate degree in Logistics, Business, International Trade, or related field
2–5 years of experience in Customer Service, International Logistics, Export Administration, or Supply Chain
Knowledge of INCOTERMS, global freight operations, and customs documentation requirements
Experience managing relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other 3rd‑party logistics partners
