Responsibilities

Provide daily administrative support to the Youth Transitions Program
Verify youth eligibility for funding and services
Validate Independent Living Program (ILP) service documentation
Complete data entry for Independent Living Programs (ILP) and grantees
Complete invoice validation
Process payments
Track documents and funding
Communicate with ILP community contracted providers regarding billing and documentation

Required

Two (2) years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and one (1) year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel at an intermediate or advanced level
Experience providing customer service and building positive relationships with customers, staff and/or contractors
Experience issuing payments and/or processing invoices
Experience and knowledge of adolescent development, the impact of foster care, and the barriers transition age youth face

Requires a valid driver's license or other acceptable method of transportation for routine travel
If selected as a finalist, we will conduct a criminal history and background check. Adverse criminal history or background check may lead to disqualification
Finalists must be cleared by the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) through a fingerprint-based criminal records check
The Oregon Department of Human Services does not offer visa sponsorship
Within three days of hire, you will be required to complete the US Department of Homeland Security's I-9 form confirming authorization to work in the United States
ODHS will use E-Verify to confirm that you are authorized to work in the United States
