Responsibilities
Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
Designs or updates moderately complex information systems that include analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary
Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
Demonstrates the ability to mediate and bridge the relationship between technical and business stakeholders without compromising the needs of the solution users and the strategic goals of the organization
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree or two (2) years of college required OR five (5) years of practical work experience in the IT Healthcare realm in lieu of college
Demonstrated ability in communications and problem solving with health care clinicians
Three (3) years of applicable work experience required
Experience with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience documenting business requirements
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Preferred technical experience includes strong knowledge of state-of-the-art software engineering approaches in design, build, test, debugging problems, and ongoing technical support, and ability to articulate examples of workflows and processes associated with that experience
Experience in application programming or application support preferred
Experience/exposure to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK), certification preferred
