Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC OD, ID, and Surface grinders
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
Select, mount, and dress grinding wheels
Make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain tolerances
Inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and comparators
Achieve required surface finish and dimensional accuracy
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Maintain clean and safe work area
Work with quality and engineering to resolve issues
Qualification
Required
3+ years CNC grinding experience (OD/ID and/or Surface)
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
Experience holding tight tolerances and fine finishes
Knowledge of wheel selection, dressing, feeds, and speeds
Ability to work independently and meet production schedules
Preferred
Experience with grinders such as Studer, Okamoto, Toyoda, Kellenberger, Jones & Shipman, or similar
Programming experience or conversational controls a plus
Aerospace, medical, or automotive experience
