Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections according to quality standards
Create and maintain inspection documentation and check sheets
Ensure non-conforming products never reach customers through proper disposition processes
Coordinate material handling, packaging, shipping, and receiving operations
Facilitate smooth movement of work-in-process and finished goods inventory
Support routing operations across inspection, packaging, machining, and storage areas
Manage outside service coordination for plating and heat treating suppliers
Foster a team environment focused on safety, innovation, and continuous improvement
Lead and participate in problem-solving and process development initiatives
Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all safety procedures
Support team-building activities and regular team meetings
Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
Process accurate inventory transactions using computer systems and RF scanners
Optimize storage and retrieval systems for maximum efficiency
Support cross-training and flexible coverage as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Commitment to safety and environmental procedures
Preferred
1-2 years in industrial or service industry (comprehensive training provided)
Experience with quality inspection processes
Team leadership or supervisory experience
