Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of finance professionals
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Define roles, responsibilities, and operating rhythms
Ensure high data quality, accuracy, and accountability
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
Perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights
Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with US GAAP
Identify and implement automation opportunities across finance operations
Reduce manual work in reporting, reconciliations, and document handling
Evaluate and apply AI-powered tools for finance efficiency and control
Act as a finance subject-matter expert for R&D and product teams
Translate real finance workflows into product requirements
Validate AI-driven use cases such as invoice processing, matching, audit trails, and controls
Help shape how finance teams safely and effectively use AI
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on financial decision-making
Support growth, pricing, and operational initiatives with clear financial insight
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in finance operations, accounting, FP&A, or similar roles
2+ years in a people-led or managerial position
Strong understanding of finance operations, close processes, and reporting
Solid knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
Strong interest in finance automation and AI-enabled workflows
Ability to communicate finance needs to technical and product teams
Preferred
Experience in SaaS, technology, or high-growth environments
Hands-on experience with finance automation, ERP optimization, or AI tools
CPA, CMA, or similar certification
