Responsibilities
Provides guidance and serves as the lead in daily activities of this department
Assists in the supervision of patient flow from point of entry to ensure timely, accurate and professional service
Monitors workflow, quality, and performance and provides direction, guidance and oversight in accordance to policies and procedures
Recognizes improvement opportunities, helps to implement solutions and handles complex or unresolved issues
Leads the team in assuring patient experience is of highest priority
Oversees the Responsibilities of Patient Associate in completing all job duties
Monitors operational aspects of the department and maintains performance improvement activities as required
Participates in all infection control, department equipment training, regulatory compliance, organizational safety and fire safety programs
Oversees Orders, distributes and maintains designated and appropriate inventory of department related supplies
Works closely with team and all appropriate supervisors and/or managers
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
Two years of leadership experience or four years of experience in Rehabilitation Services or similar job duties (patient registration, insurance, scheduling)
High level of interpersonal and problem solving skills
Ability to promote teamwork and develop team members
Knowledge and understanding of hospital policies and procedures
Ability to take initiative and meet objectives
Effective written and verbal communication skills in both individual and group settings
Expert knowledge of rehab services requirements and regulations
Preferred
Associate's Degree
