They are seeking an IT Systems Administrator who will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations, handling Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues, managing Microsoft 365, and ensuring clean access control and documentation across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Handle Tier 1 issues without drama
Own Tier 2 escalations without panic
Prevent repeat problems instead of “resetting passwords forever”
Keep identities, devices, and vendors clean and under control
Coordinate providers instead of chasing them
Document like a professional, not a hobbyist
Be the first and second line of support across ~25 locations
Administer Microsoft 365 like you actually understand it
Manage endpoints, patching, and standards across a mixed environment
Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues across multiple sites
Coordinate telecom, VoIP, ISPs, and contractors without babysitting
Own onboarding and offboarding so access is clean, fast, and accurate
Maintain inventories, renewals, credentials, and documentation that make sense
Reduce repeat issues through real root-cause fixes
Keep security tight without slowing the business down
Communicate clearly when things break and when they’re fixed

Required

5+ years in IT support/admin roles
Handle Tier 1 issues without drama
Own Tier 2 escalations without panic
Administer Microsoft 365 (users, groups, licensing, MFA, security, mail flow)
Manage endpoints, patching, and standards across a mixed environment
Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues across multiple sites
Coordinate telecom, VoIP, ISPs, and contractors without babysitting
Own onboarding and offboarding so access is clean, fast, and accurate
Maintain inventories, renewals, credentials, and documentation that make sense
Reduce repeat issues through real root-cause fixes
Keep security tight without slowing the business down
Communicate clearly when things break and when they're fixed
Think in root causes, not band-aids
Be organized, direct, and allergic to chaos
Document because it saves time, not because someone told you to
Talk to non-technical people without sounding condescending
Not disappear when things get hard
