OPERATIONS PLANNER (SDA)
MCSG Technologies is seeking an Operations Planner - Space Domain Awareness (SDA) to support the 392d Combat Training Squadron’s USSF Exercise Team at Schriever SFB, CO. This role involves providing SDA subject matter expertise and coordinating with various stakeholders to design, develop, plan, execute, and assess USSF exercises and related events.

Responsibilities
Serves as the USSF Exercise team’s primary interface with Delta 2 and its subordinate units
Gathers information, establishes liaisons, and coordinates with key internal and external USSF exercise stakeholders to integrate SDA training requirements into USSF service-level exercises, Flashpoint events, or mission-focused events
Works with USSF exercise planners to develop SDA exercise scenario timing, effects, anticipated player actions, etc
Coordinates manning and support requirements with USSF exercise team subject matter experts and representatives from Delta 2 and its associated units
Identifies gaps and shortfalls in modeling & simulation tools needed to provide realistic exercise environments
Assists with USSF exercise planning conferences, coordination meetings, training events, etc
Participates as part of the USSF service-level exercise White Cell and Exercise Control Group
Captures, analyzes, and reports observations and lessons learned identified during the design, planning, and execution of USSF exercises, Flashpoint events, and mission-focused events
Supports hot wash debriefs and after-action report development after each USSF service-level exercise, Flashpoint event, or Delta 2-related mission-focused event
Prepares event-related documents (i.e., trip reports, exercise planning/execution products, after-action reports, lessons learned, meeting minutes) within contractual time frames
Carries out tasks as directed by contract leadership required to ensure 392 CTS mission success
Qualification
Required
Experience working with Delta 2 and its subordinate units, CSpOC, or the NSDC
Experience working with orbital warfare payload missions
Understanding of the Space Surveillance Network (SSN) tasking procedures, satellite catalog maintenance, and the relationships between Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), interagency and coalition SSA partners
This position requires limited travel (less than 4-5 weeks/year)
10+ years of SDA experience
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret/SCI with Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility
Preferred
Experience coordinating SDA capabilities in support of rendezvous proximity operations (RPO)
Level III certified in STK
Previously certified Orbital Analyst
Graduate of the 319 CTS/ASOPS Advanced Orbital Mechanics courses
