Responsibilities
Modify, fabricate and build equipment and subassemblies working from layout diagrams, schematics, wire prints, and verbal instructions
Install, inspect, test, adjust, or repair avionics equipment, such as radar, radio, navigation, and control systems in aircraft
Assist in dismantling, repairing, overhauling or replacing parts and assemblies such as engines, plumbing systems, hydraulic systems, and aircraft structural sections
Perform integration efforts within full-scale production manufacturing operations and include tasks such as production fabrication for electronic, mechanical, electromechanical assemblies
Follow established methods and procedures, and effective time management for production scheduling and control
Coordinate, plan, and expedite the flow of material, parts, and assemblies within a warehouse and production facility environment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience
Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various hand/power tools
Ability to successfully obtain Cable Fabrication and Fiber Optics certifications
