Responsibilities

Identify and close high-value partnerships with Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs), energy developers, consultancies, and law firms
Discover prospective clients' pain points, showcase how the EnerKnol Platform eliminates them, and clearly summarize the business impact
Independently grow the new business pipeline, provide tailored product demonstrations, and convert trialists into key accounts
Navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving Regulatory, Engineering, and Procurement departments
Stay ahead of energy trends, such as grid modernization, and orchestrate workshops to educate customers on platform value

Qualification

B2B sales experienceEnergy sector knowledgeStrategic deal navigationMarket structures understandingNetwork buildingCollaborative leadership

Required

5+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 4 years directly selling to or working within the energy sector
A deep understanding of energy market structures, utility business models, or energy data standards
Proven ability to navigate high-stakes deals with developers and utilities who require the platform as a vital part of their workflow
Ability to play a leadership role as the company scales, contributing to a fun and collaborative team culture

Preferred

While an existing rolodex in the energy and utility space is highly preferred, we prioritize the demonstrated ability to build a network and gain access to key decision-makers independently
