Responsibilities
Configure and manage servers of different operation systems, such as Windows or Linux, including installing, fixing issues, and upgrading while implementing enhancements to improve performance and reliability
Monitor server on daily basis and troubleshoot issues at both server and PC levels
Manage backup and recovery of server data
Develop and maintain documentation for server systems and processes
Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of server systems with other systems and applications
Implements warehouse efficiencies and cost reduction programs to assist the company in making better merchandise flow decisions by conducting thorough analysis on key areas which are causing product and delivery issues
Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communication at all levels
Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the company’s culture
Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates
Maintains and strengthens internal, external customer, and supplier relationships. Communicates and works well with all business partners
Ensures inventory management and merchandise allocation flows product through the warehouse in the most cost efficient and productive manner
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
At least 3-year working experience as server engineer
Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux/Unix-based server systems
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Hyper-V
Fluent in English
Strong in written and oral communication skills
Ability to do multi-task and tasks prioritization
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Effectively communicates concepts with various levels of the organization
Preferred
Experience as database administrator is a plus
