Responsibilities
Administers the everyday maintenance and operational duties carried out on trails
Oversees the routine upkeep of trails
Handles machinery, equipment, vehicles, and tools
May carry out additional critical job responsibilities pertinent to the specific role and departmental assignment
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years of related work experience in grounds maintenance and/or basic general maintenance preferably inclusive of some level of performance in a work leader capacity
Must undergo pre-employment criminal and DMV background checks
Valid driver's license and good driving record (driving records may be reviewed annually for continued qualification)
Obtain First Aid/CPR certifications within 6 months of hire
County supervisory, e-learning, and MOAT trainings as required
Preferred
Coursework in building trades
Three (3) years of applicable work experience in trail construction
A Commercial Pesticide Applicator's/Fertilizer Applicator License
