This role involves conducting outreach and engagement activities to promote scholarship opportunities and assist students and community organizations in understanding the application process.

Responsibilities
Conduct in-person outreach at high schools, nonprofits, community organizations, and community events throughout Phoenix/Maricopa and the surrounding area
Meet one-on-one and in small groups with students to discuss ACF scholarship opportunities and answer questions
Table at school and community events to share scholarship materials and respond to inquiries
Make outbound phone calls, emails, and follow-ups to students, counselors, and partner organizations
Deliver short presentations and classroom visits about ACF scholarships, eligibility, timelines, and application tips
Provide guidance on navigating the online scholarship application, including required documents and deadlines
Track outreach activities and share feedback with ACF staff to help improve outreach strategies
Qualification
Required
Current undergraduate or graduate student
Strong communication skills and comfort speaking with individuals and groups
Experience working with students, schools, or community organizations
Organized, reliable, and able to manage time independently
Comfortable making phone calls and engaging with new people
Ability to travel locally for outreach activities
Proficient with computers and able to operate general office equipment to include fax machines, scanners, copiers, postal machines, printers, etc
Available for occasional evening and/or weekend work hours
Preferred
Preferred fields: education, communications, social work, public policy, nonprofit management, or related areas
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
