Responsibilities
Install, modify, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and systems, including software and hardware
Interface with customers to maintain service level agreements and ensure satisfaction
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established protocols and policies
Obtain certification for equipment service and operation as required
Submit detailed reports on service activities, including status updates and performance summaries
Respond effectively to changing priorities, such as escalations or urgent repairs
Act as a point of contact for both the customer and internal teams
Provide system performance summaries, including issue analysis and corrective actions
Support additional key performance indicator (KPI) measurement requests as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required; an Associate of Science degree, technical certificate, or equivalent is a plus
Background in electrical and mechanical systems with related work experience or military technical training
Strong communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak clearly while interfacing with customers and peers
Excellent troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to identifying and resolving issues independently
Ability to prioritize and make decisions based on business needs
Flexibility to align work schedule with customer needs, including occasional on-call, holiday, or weekend work
Comfortable working in cold environments and lifting up to 50 pounds
Must meet background screening requirements
Onsite presence required five days a week at the customer's facility in Rockville, Maryland
Preferred
Experience with Oracle systems is highly beneficial
