1+ years expMetroPlains Management is seeking an experienced Property Maintenance Technician to join their team. This position is responsible for completing residential work orders, including routine maintenance and repairs in various areas such as heating, plumbing, and electrical work.

Responsibilities
Complete assigned service requests related to repairs and upkeep of properties in areas such as heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and other general repairs, recommending replacement or repair as necessary
Ensure all work is completed professionally and cleanly
Ensure quality and timely completion of construction and repair projects
Provide ongoing input on property improvements for budget consideration
Participate in site meetings as needed
Maintain the attractive internal and external appearance of all buildings and grounds, including debris and weed removal, and reporting maintenance needs
Participate in ongoing training to maintain required knowledge and skills
Always utilize required safety equipment
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have own hand tools, a valid driver's license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance
May be required to work extended hours and weekends
Scheduled to work on-call evenings and weekends on a rotational basis
Ability to work independently, organize work, establish priorities, follow defined procedures, and complete tasks
Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to a diverse group of people
Travel to multiple sites and/or locations as required
Preferred
High School or equivalent education with one to two years' related experience and/or training preferred, or a combination of relevant work experience and education is required
Experience preferred in the following areas: HVAC, EPA Universal, Boilers License and/or Pool Certification
