Responsibilities
Responsible for the design and development of capital system hardware from concept generation to launch
Accountable for developing end to end schedules and breaking them down into actionable quarterly objectives and key results
Champion a hybrid Agile methodology to focus and drive the teams to achieve important short-term milestones that are critical to the success of the overall development plan and strategy
Responsible for risk management and mitigation which requires contingency planning, conflict resolution, and tradeoff assessments
Build strong positive relationships with peers and multi-disciplinary functional partners
Challenge and communicate difficult decisions, strategies, and priorities while building a culture of collaboration and end to end accountability
Build a positive team environment and a culture with a sense of urgency, driving toward improved team effectiveness and achievement
Qualification
Required
BS in Engineering or related technical subject area is required
Prior program management experience of 5+ years is required, candidates with 8+ years will be preferentially considered
Experience managing an R&D project is required
Previous experience leading a multi-disciplinary technical project team is required
Prior experience managing a complex electromechanical or mechatronics R&D project is required
Experience with MS Project required
Prior experience in a regulated environment is required
High performer and leader with demonstrated ability to manage a complex program in a fast-paced environment
Candidate must demonstrate influence and conflict resolution skills and ability to work collaboratively to align diverse stakeholders and lead teams without direct reporting authority
This position may require up to 10% travel
This project team is based in Santa Clara CA. Local candidates will be preferentially considered
