This role is critical in driving asset lifecycle governance, workflow automation, and data accuracy while supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade ServiceNow HAM solutions
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable HAM configurations
Configure and customize HAM workflows, forms, reports, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts
Perform and oversee ServiceNow instance transfers, upgrades, and data migrations related to hardware assets
Integrate HAM with CMDB, Procurement, ITSM, Discovery, and external systems
Optimize asset lifecycle processes including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root-cause resolution
Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture designs, and implementation standards
Mentor junior developers and promote ServiceNow best practices and governance
Stay current with ServiceNow releases, HAM enhancements, and industry best practices
Qualification
Required
10+ years of ServiceNow development experience with deep expertise in Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
Proven experience designing and implementing HAM solutions in large enterprise environments
Strong hands-on experience with instance transfers, upgrades, and data migration activities
Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), business rules, UI policies, and client scripts
Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems and data sources
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and lead complex initiatives end to end
Preferred
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Hardware Asset Management
Experience with CMDB, Discovery, Procurement, and Software Asset Management (SAM)
Prior experience in government or highly regulated environments
