Responsibilities
Manage transportation safety & operations research programs, serving as Program Manager & primary client point of contact
Provide technical leadership on transportation safety, operations, TSMO strategies, ITS deployments, & data-driven research methodologies
Develop & oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, & deliverables, ensuring compliance & high-quality outputs across multidisciplinary teams
Lead safety assessment & infrastructure reviews, identifying countermeasures & improvements while guiding road safety audits & operational evaluations
Support business development including proposal development, bid strategy, technical writing, & expansion of client relationships
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree or higher in Transportation, Civil, Systems Engineering or a related field
12+ years of experience managing federal, state, or local transportation research, safety programs, or ITS/TSMO initiatives
Proven expertise working with state/federal transportation research and project/program management
Active Public Trust clearance
