Responsibilities
Be a part of an agile team that makes and keeps regular commitments
Build and maintain test suite using Cypress(JavaScript & TypeScript)
Implement automated testing platforms, unit, and end-to-end tests
Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
Work closely with the Product Engineering team in an agile environment
Participate in all cycles of software design and testing
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team
Help maintain code quality, organization, and test automation
Set up, maintain, and operate test automation frameworks
Ability to manually test and provide bug reports when bugs are found
Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
At least three years of experience in software engineering in a Quality Assurance Automation role
Minimum of 2 year experience in Cypress or JavaScript
Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies designing, implementing, and automating processes
Deep understanding of the entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Performance and Volume, User Acceptance)
Understanding of API validation
Independent learning skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate issues, analysis and solutions
Bachelors in Computer Science, preferred
Experience writing tests (end-to-end, integration and unit)
Experience using JavaScript
Experience using Cypress
