Responsibilities

Research: Following overall research objectives, design, plan, conduct, and troubleshoot complex experiments to advance the lab's understanding of organ fibrosis
Molecular & Cell Biology Expertise: Apply fundamental and advanced techniques, including but not limited to:
Immunology and Flow Cytometry: Perform and analyze immunological assays such as ELISA and multi-color flow cytometry
Animal Models experience preferred: Utilize prior in-depth training to handle and manage rodent animal models (including transgenic lines), perform surgical procedures, dissections, and specialized techniques like blood collection
Scientific Contribution: Actively contribute to the lab's intellectual property by co-authoring publications and co-presenting research findings with the Principal Investigator at professional meetings and conferences
Lab Oversight: Provide day-to-day operational oversight, ensuring the lab runs efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with institutional and regulatory standards
Mentorship and Training: Train and mentor junior lab members, students, and technicians on proper research techniques, equipment operation, and lab procedures

Required

Bachelors degree in biology, biochemistry, or a recognized field of science directly related to the lab
4-5 years experience in a related field

Preferred

Master's degree or higher and 4 to 5 years related experience
