Designs and implements scalable engagement and marketing strategies that reach and resonate with large (1000+), geographically dispersed populations, strengthening awareness, affinity, and readiness for philanthropic participation

Partners closely with Annual Giving, Development Officers, and IU Foundation Advancement Services to align global engagement activity with solicitation strategies, segmentation models, and donor lifecycle progression
Oversees broad-based engagement channels, including digital communications, affinity networks, volunteer pathways, and alumni programs, that serve as primary entry points into philanthropy for a worldwide audience rather than event-centric touchpoints
Establishes engagement as a measurable advancement function by defining, tracking, and analyzing KPIs such as non-donor activation, first-time donor conversion, participation rates, retention, and pipeline progression across domestic and international constituencies
Collaborates with Marketing and Communications to deliver consistent, high-volume messaging that connects Jacobs mission, artistic excellence, and donor impact to mass audiences on a national and international scale
Partners with the IU Foundation and campus advancement teams to leverage CRM tools, analytics, and dashboards to inform strategy, evaluate ROI, and continuously improve global engagement-to-giving outcomes
Serves as a member of the Jacobs Development leadership team, contributing to campaign planning with emphasis on participation growth and future donor development across markets. Supervises both part time and full time (remote working and hybrid schedules) staff, fostering a culture focused on scale, accountability, and measurable pipeline outcomes in a globally connected environment
Leads the planning, development and implementation of alumni programs and major ceremonies/events that complement and advance the goals of university alumni and development offices, academic units and student life

Develops and manages a portfolio of alumni, volunteers, donors and prospects. Collaborates with other units on fundraising efforts and events
Collaborates with internal department partners and volunteer leaders to develop plans and implement programs (professional development, celebrations, fundraising) that connect students and alumni and increase engagement and participation of the local service community and the worldwide alumni community and supporters
