Responsibilities
Ensures process of pruning, spacing, staking and assembly are performed accurately and timely throughout the department
Assist in assigning job task to craftsman as needed
Perform task of pruning, spacing, weeding, staking, tying and other production related task as needed
Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the company as assigned
Responsible for the coordination with the crop grower coach to collect data and report it to team coordinator
Qualification
Required
are willing to serve as an active team player
demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills as well as able to effectively communicate with coaches and craftsman
have at least 3-years of relevant experience on nursery production and have knowledge of a variety of plants or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job
detailed knowledge of plant, equipment and processes used
can audit your own work, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks with good follow-up
have a high tolerance for ambiguity, uncertainty, and diversity in the workplace
enjoy the occasional expose to the wet and/or humid conditions of working outside, but you also enjoy working inside in an office setting
Must be able to drive company tractor and vehicle
possess a valid Oregon driver's license
Preferred
bilingual highly recommended (English / Spanish)
