Warehouse Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities
Keep safe work habits as the highest priority at all times

Follow policies and practices stated in Employee Handbook and other facility policy and procedures manuals
Generate and distribute department reports
Understand and have leadership qualities to carry out all aspects of warehouse operations
Receive incoming freight for inventory and projects
Ship freight for return, repair or supply reasons
Stock incoming freight into warehouse or project inventory
Issue stocked and project inventory items
Enter new stock items into the system
Order re-stock items as needed
Fax / email orders out for order and receive confirmations back and ensure pricing and deliveries are acceptable
Enter re-stock items into the system
Issue new stock numbers, set classes for new stock items into the system
Check items entered as received / issued / returned
Receive incoming items into the system
Make and maintain bar code labels for stock
Implement continuous performance improvement by establishing and maintaining a supportive environment and adequate staffing, defining objectives, setting departmental and personal goals and creating strategies to accomplish them when in a supervisory role
Generate departmental budgets, vacation schedules and call-out lists as required when in a supervisory role
Develop and implement training programs to ensure adequate knowledge and proficiency of warehouse personnel when in a supervisory role
Correct blocked invoices / Apache invoices
Create and process purchase orders for stock and non-stock goods for ERI / EBF
Ensure proper tax and account codes on purchase order processing
Answer phone in a timely and courteous manner
Maintain general office supplies for Warehouse Department
Expedite deliveries and advise requisitioner of delivery date changes
Assist Corporate Accounts Payable (unblock invoices, invoice problem solving, etc.) / Apache invoices
Assist Corporate Accounting
Assist customers with SAP questions
Assist Warehouse as needed and directed
Assist with various tasks as needed and directed by Warehouse / Procurement Supervisor
Available for call-out when scheduled by Maintenance / Engineering Department
Scan PO's to network
Do goods receipt for invoices put in Apache
Setting up new vendors
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, with a Bachelor's Degree being preferred
Minimum of 4 years warehouse experience or 5 years related experience assessed as qualified by the Warehouse / Procurement Supervisor and Maintenance / Engineering Manager
Knowledge of all warehouse operations, piping materials, rotating equipment parts
Experience in the use of SAP
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook
Good communication skills
Experience in bookkeeping or basic accounting
Ability to work well with others
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
A clean MVR is required
