InternKnapheide is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to assist Buyers in the Purchasing Department with various procurement responsibilities. The role involves monitoring purchase orders, contacting suppliers, and collaborating internally to ensure timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain purchase order confirmations
Contact suppliers for tracking on open orders
Update delivery dates on orders in the system and communicate updates to the Buyers
Develop understanding of AS400 and assist buyer in making expedite decisions based on supply base
Review demand and issue purchase orders
Gather packing slips for delivered product and receive product in the AS400
Monitor daily tasks including communication changes to our supply base
Assisting in sourcing of product and acquiring RFQ's
Collaborate internally and with suppliers to ensure on time delivery
Ability to utilize problem solving skills and multi task efficiently
Assist Buyers with projects as needed
Maintain records and adherence to ISO 9001 program
Support and attend meeting requests
Performs other duties, assignments, and special projects as requested
Qualification
Required
Current college students studying Supply Chain or similar curriculum preferred
