Government Administration
Responsibilities
Leads and supports projects including project scoping and planning. Communicates with impacted parties and delivers milestones and timely work products
Develops, implements, and recommends quantitative and qualitative tools to gather data and information. Interprets data and performs data analysis
Assists with the assessment and implementation of tools or solutions for continuous improvement, including process improvement through Lean Six Sigma, related methodologies, dashboards, or other performance indicator methodologies
Provides data analysis or visualization to assess impacts, gaps, errors, and trends and identifies recommendations, solutions, or alternative methods to potential problems
Analyzes policies and procedures and recommends
Participates in the development of strategic or long-range plans to guide county operations and future direction
Facilitates meetings, processes, and dialogue to encourage collaborative outcomes and relationships with internal county business, community partners, and community members
Facilitates and participates in events, trainings, and meetings to support continuous learning and diversity, equity, and inclusion
Performs other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in management information systems, business administration, program planning and evaluation, mathematics, or related field. (Management Analyst 1)
OR
Associate's degree from an accredited college in management information systems, business administration, program planning and evaluation, mathematics, or related field and two (2) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions. (Management Analyst 1)
OR
A combination of education and experience equivalent to four (4) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions. (Management Analyst 1)
OR
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in management information systems, business administration, program planning and evaluation, mathematics, or related field and three (3) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions. (Management Analyst 2)
OR
Master's degree from an accredited college in management information systems, business administration, program planning and evaluation, mathematics, or related field and one (1) year of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions. (Management Analyst 2)
OR
A combination of education and experience equivalent to seven (7) years of experience in a similar position as listed in the work functions. (Management Analyst 2)
Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary component of job/position
Individuals required to use County vehicles and equipment must have a valid driver's license and be free of any major traffic violations for the last three (3) years
