Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of facilities, machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, performance, and quality standards
Execute installations of components, hardware, and related elements; troubleshoot and fine-tune systems for optimal initial performance
Skillfully diagnose issues, troubleshoot, make adjustments, perform repairs, and execute preventative maintenance on computers, equipment, and related systems
Maintain precise and organized records and logs of all activities
Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the supervisor, aligning with the field's scope of the title position

Required

A minimum of two years of either pertinent work experience, electronics education, or a combination thereof
Proficiency in key areas, including VAV systems, INET Control, and Bacnet/Lon BAS protocols
Mastery of electronics principles, theories, and practices
Proficiency in reading and interpreting maps, plats, charts, plans, blueprints, and electrical schematics
Familiarity with traffic control and safety protocols
Understanding of applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies
Capability to maintain, repair, and utilize tools and equipment
Competence in installing, repairing, and maintaining building automation systems and equipment
Effective communication skills, both in written and verbal forms, enabling clear conveyance of information and ideas

Preferred

An associate's degree or higher in an Electrical or Electronics field of study
Expertise in working with Commercial HVAC Systems, Struxureware, and Niagara 4
