Help Desk Support Specialist

They are seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to provide first-line IT support for US-based employees and venue staff, managing user lifecycle tasks and troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Responsibilities
Serve as first-line IT support for US-based employees and venue staff via phone, chat, email, and ticketing—triage, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
Manage user lifecycle tasks including account provisioning, password resets, Microsoft 365 mailbox support, and Active Directory updates following security and access policies
Operate and maintain the ticketing system: log incidents, document troubleshooting steps, prioritize by SLA, and ensure timely escalation to engineering or vendors as required
Remotely configure and troubleshoot endpoints using remote-support tools, VPN connections, and MDM enrollment to enable secure work-from-anywhere access
Support onboarding/offboarding for remote and venue-based staff—prepare endpoints, install standard applications, and verify connectivity and credentials prior to start dates
Contribute to the knowledge base and run periodic user training sessions to reduce repeat incidents and improve end-user self-service
Qualification
Required
Proficiency with Windows 10
Proficiency with Windows 11
Proficiency with macOS
Microsoft 365 administration
Active Directory user management
Experience with ServiceNow or Zendesk
Remote support tools such as TeamViewer
VPN troubleshooting
2+ years of hands-on help desk or desktop support experience (or equivalent)
Strong written and verbal communication with demonstrated customer-service orientation
US-based and authorized to work in the United States; comfortable working across time zones for venue support
Preferred
Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience
ITIL Foundation certification
Prior support experience in hospitality, retail, or distributed venue environments
