Responsibilities

Prepare/review Individual (Form 1040), Partnership (Form 1065), Corporate (Form 1120 and 1120S) and Trust (Form 1041) Income Tax Returns
Ensure timely filing of all client-related tax returns
Advise clients that include small businesses, individuals, trusts/estates
Research and draft memorandum involving complex tax matters
Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for clients
Work with staff to develop tax competencies and align on best practices
Present on technical topic(s) for staff training
Respond to federal and state tax notices received by client

Qualification

CPATax preparationTax complianceTax researchUltraTax CSClient relationship managementMentoring

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
3+ years tax experience
Experience with individual, partnership, corporate and trust tax returns
Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research

Preferred

CPA/MST preferred
Familiarity with UltraTax CS is a plus
